Brief
Attic Design Consultancy were approached by 'Heart of Mersey' to create an identity for a new initiative called 'The Beat Goes On', this identity would then roll out across various documents, the first being an executive report and summary.
Heart of Mersey is a registered charity operating within its partners the local PCT’s throughout Merseyside, its remit is to embrace the broader cardiovascular disease (CVD) agenda.
Heart of Mersey aims to add value to local initiatives and programmes by working at local, regional, national and European levels to prevent CVD death in the population. Also, to alleviate the health inequalities associated with CVD through integrated, evidence-based interventions.
The charity is concerned with the key risk factors associated with achieving these aims, including poor diet (excess dietary fat, salt and sugar), smoking (including secondhand smoke) and physical inactivity (environment). |

Creative
Attic Design Consultancy worked closely with the communications team at Heart of Mersey to fully understand the 'Beat Goes On' prior to commencing any creative.
Attic wanted to create a striking design for the publications and presented a few concepts prior to the client selecting the chosen style.
We conveyed the key messages by means of colourful graphical statements with large text and food shapes, the brand was shown in the same treatment using a heart shaped icon.
